The lil' chickens of marietta is a public art exhibit of 5' tall fiberglass chickens which are painted and otherwise adorned by local artists in whimsical fashion. The chickens hatched just a couple months ago and are roosting at various locations in Marietta.

We will be announcing the information about how to BID on a lil' chicken in the coming days!

About Us

Honorary Chair: Mayor Bill Dunaway
Steering Committee: Jeri Barr, Dan Cox, Patricia Duggan, Theresa Jenkins, Van Pearlberg

Working Committee: Catherine Castaldo, Tracy Young, Mary Koronkowski, Natalie Rutledge The lil' chickens was started by 4 veteran members of the Junior League of Cobb-Marietta. After years of leadership training and experience through the League, members were ready when we received a call from Mayor Bill Dunaway looking for a way to get this project started. In the planning stages, the project received enthusiastic support from the Mayor, Marietta City Council Members, the Junior League of Cobb-Marietta, the Marietta Museum of History, the Marietta-Cobb Art Museum and the Marietta Welcome Center. This encouraged us to incorporate into a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit.
