The lil' chickens of marietta is a public art exhibit of 5' tall fiberglass chickens which are painted and otherwise adorned by local artists in whimsical fashion. The chickens hatched just a couple months ago and are roosting at various locations in Marietta.

The concept of this design is Marietta in transition. One side of the lil' chicken will be "Classic Marietta." Three landmark structures will be painted on this side. These structures consist of the old train depot, the Strand, and the Whitlock Inn. The back aide of the lil' chicken will depict the bell from Northcutt Stadium. The final side will consist of Marietta's redevelopment. Manget by Hedgewood, Marietta Mill, and Frazier Park will each be depicted.
